For my chair project, i was supose to design a chair for my local community, so i presented this model of my chair to my group. so i got a response from one of my members of my team, and they said "dont make your seat sketchy" but the resion for this remark was for the placement of my side of my chair.
it made my chair rock, but for my legit copy, i will better piece my project.

Furniture design standards 2
Theys are the Table design guidelines for making a table and the procedures with making it. you see with each individual table, the sizes very on the type. The night stand if you see bellow is smaller in comparison to the End table. if you want to design a table, here it is.
Theys are different types of chairs and the guidelines to get started if your wanting to make a chair.

you have to very the size depending on the majority user.
Furniture design standards 1
When designing a chair, you have to consider the sizes of your possible hosts/guests. If its too big, it can fell bad for a small person, but a chair too small it could feel more crowded for a more, bigger person. stay tuned for the chair and table dimensions.

Weerol on Google Sketch-Up (WeeCup)
this is my Weerol project, for this i had to make a Weerol accessory for the weerol. this is called the WeeCup, this cup can attach to the front or the back of this contraption.
in the picture above, the kid is demonstrating the Weerol (Weecup). Think to yourself, would he/she want to enjoy there Weerol while having a nice drink?
of course, kids are like that to do two things at once.
the materials will consist of birch, the same used for the Weerol, and plastic for around the cup, and maybe for the inside of the cup, for extra water resistance.
I think potential materials that can be used for the cup is a light aluminum, or a different type of wood.
This cup is preferred to be set up at the back of the Weerol, cause if it was set up at the front of the weerol, then if the kid bumps in top something, stuff is going down.
The color of the Weecup, will be similar to the Weerols color.

Weerol Project
in class, i was tasked to make a weerol attachment.
my attachment is a cup holder, so little kids don't spill their drinks in the weeroll, im rather thinking on calling it the "weesip, the weedrink, or the weecup".

theys are my sketches of my project........
........and this is the Leggett thing, or prototype.

Wikiseat project, first the interview
When starting my wikiseat, i was tasked with interviewing one of my relatives, for one of their possible problems with a possible chair they may or may not even need.
my task is to make them their "Dream" chair and i got to make it to complete perfection.
So i decided to interview my Mother.
So i told her i wanted to interview her, and we made plans to a specific time we will consult about her chair (seat).
So before this interview, i made a list of questions for her to answer such as:
-How tall?
-How comfy?
-the main purpose for seat?
-Color?
-and etc
so basically at the end of my Quest, she wanted a bird watching stool ( about three feet high ), with some sort of comfy Seat on it cause she wants it to be soft, and it should be light weight, and a handle on it to carry into the bush, and my mom also wanted it to be camo coloured , cause of were she is going to be.
At the end we treated the Questions as a joke, but she is actually really exited to se how it turns out.

Skype interview with Derek Perkins about the Weerol
My interview with Derek Perkins was cool.
He told us about how he began his quest for world domination, and the time he put into it.
and he also consulted with use his ideas for earlier models of the weerol.
At first he made really rough drafts, and sketches of the product, but later on in production, it became reality.
I made a few pages of notes on this interview, and i will explain what I wrote.
I guess i will start with Derek Perkins background, in high school, he took a lot of math classes, but terrible, so he became a industrial designer in 1994, their is no math involved but you must know how TO DRAW.
When he had kids, he decided to make furniture for them, then had an idea.
He experimented with several ideas, and furniture designs and the idea had improved every design.
thats were weerol came from.
While working on his project, he had to Consider on the:
-Cost
-Safety
-Manufacturability
-Practicality
-and is it fun?
When he was brainstorming ideas, he had to consider:
-Sketching ideas
-Prototyping
-Testing
When thats finished, he also had to consider:
-Source suppliers
-Get quotes
-Purchase tooling
-Order samples
-The test samples
-Modify/repeat
-Schedule production
-Supply chain planning
A) supplier
B) production management
C)Logistics
D)And sales channels
But Derek Perkins problem is that he didn't have a way to get feedback from others, and a way to sell his product.
So thats when kickstarter starts, Kickstarter help Derek Perkins get:
-Feedback
-Exposure
-Concept Validation
-Pre-order sales
-and cause its Fun!
Thats how weerol started, so their you go, right from the source.
